- open tool dialog
- (optional) choose column shape
- (optional) adjust column's settings: height, width, depth, materials etc
- click "put..." command button at the top of the dialog
- click at appropriate place in a current model to create a column
Basic modes:
'Default' mode is for selecting existing column objects. It is possible to reshape and re-adjust properties of selected column.
'Put Column' mode is for creating a column in an active model.
'Draw Contour' mode allows to draw a contour of a customly shaped column vertex-by-vertex.
'Pick Face' mode is for picking any face, that represents a contour of a customly shaped column, in an active model instead of drawing column's contour vertex-by-vertex.
'Pick Curve' mode is for picking any curve, that represents a contour of a customly shaped column, in an active model instead of drawing column's contour vertex-by-vertex.
Sence version 1.4 it is possible to save complex custom profile shape as a preset in order to reuse it any time later.
