Free Rotate Tool

• Rotates a Selection about picked Pivot and Axis points.
• With 'Free' or 'Axial' Rotate modes toggled by 'Tab'.

Tool Operation

1. Make a selection
2. Activate the FreeRotate Tool
3. Pick the Pivot-Point
4. Pick the Axis-Point

• Then...
• In Free-Rotate mode

1. Move the cursor and the selection's axis follows the cursor
2. Click/Enter to confirm, or 'Tab' to toggle to Axial-Rotate mode

• Or in Axial-Rotate mode

1. Pick the Handle-Point or Type in an Angle
2. Pick the Snap-Point or Type in an Angle
3. Double-Click/Enter to confirm, or 'Tab' to toggle to Free-Rotate mode

Modifier Keys

• Tab = Toggles between Free-Rotate and Axial-Rotate modes
• Ctrl/Option = Makes Pivot/Axis point the center of the selection's bounding-box

To Confirm

• Press Enter
• Double-Click
• Left-Click [in Free-Rotate mode only]
